GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE (GTC)

1. PREAMBLE

The Client declares:

To have full legal capacity to enter into these GTC, meaning to be at least 18 years old and not under legal protection.
To book the services in their own name, for personal and private use.
To accept that the reservation cannot exceed more than 2 persons.
To have read the Internal Regulations and Legal Notices, available on the Site, which are an integral part of these GTC.

2. SCOPE

These conditions apply to all services and product sales offered on the Aux Secrets des Arcs website (contact details and address undisclosed).

They may be modified at any time, without prior notice or notification. Modifications do not apply to already made reservations; only the GTC in force at the time of booking apply to the Client.

3. PAYMENT

The Client guarantees to be fully authorized to use the provided payment method and to have sufficient funds to cover the order costs.
Gift vouchers are strictly reserved for customers as described in the preamble and must comply with these same GTC.
Prices shown are in euros, including VAT, and may be changed without notice.
Prices are valid only for the dates mentioned in the booking confirmation (tourist tax included).
Booking confirmation is subject to payment receipt. It summarizes the ordered services and corresponding prices.
Payment is made by credit card (Carte Bleue, Visa, MasterCard, Eurocard) whose holder is the booker. The Client acknowledges authorizing the debit of the amount corresponding to the ordered services.
The Client authorizes a bank hold of €500 as a deposit, made on the day of arrival. This hold is valid for 2 days after the departure date.
In case of payment dispute or cancellation, article L133-8 of the Monetary and Financial Code applies.
The total amount of the stay is paid in full at the time of booking, directly on the Aux Secrets des Arcs website.

4. KEY HANDOVER / ENTRY

Arrival notification: On the day of arrival, the Client receives by SMS and email the exact address of the house and the key box code.
Hours: Entry is autonomous from 5:30 PM on the day of arrival, and departure must be before 11:00 AM on the day of leaving.
The key box code is valid only for the hours defined at booking and changes with each new Client.
Video surveillance is installed at the entrance door to monitor the number of people accessing the house and arrival/departure times.

Welcome Booklet

The Client receives a digital welcome booklet on the day of arrival.
It includes the address, access codes, and house rules.

5. INVENTORY

An inventory validated by Aux Secrets des Arcs is available inside the accommodation before arrival.
The Client is invited to check the inventory upon arrival. In case of anomaly, the Client must contact Aux Secrets des Arcs by email or SMS. Lack of comment implies acceptance of the state of the premises.
Cleaning is included in the price. However, in case of abuse or damage, an additional fee may be withheld from the deposit.

6. RENTAL SERVICES

The basic service, excluding TENTATIONS options or individual purchases, includes:

Secret pouch
Courtesy tray: tea, coffee capsules, herbal teas, cold drinks for 2 people, milk and sugar
Equipped kitchen: classic coffee maker, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, induction hob, oven, pans, pots, dishes, cutlery, utensils, cleaning products, kitchen linen, dishwasher
Living area, Balneo, Sauna, Bathroom and XXL shower
Household linen: towels, bath sheets, bathrobes, bed linen
King Size bed (180 × 200 cm)
Large screen TV, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth speakers, LED lights
Secret rooms and their complete equipment (accessories and furniture)
Breakfast for 2 people (pastries, bread, butter, jam, fruit juice) for a maximum of 2 consecutive nights
Cleaning service at departure
Tourist tax included
The maximum number of consecutive nights booked is 2. Beyond that, a new booking must be made.

7. HOUSE RULES AND HYGIENE

The Internal Regulations are available on the Aux Secrets des Arcs website and are an integral part of these GTC.
By confirming their booking, the Client declares having read and agreeing to comply with these rules.
Any intervention (Aux Secrets des Arcs, Gendarmerie) for noise disturbance, public order disruption or inappropriate behavior may result in full forfeiture of the deposit.
The Client must return the house, furniture, and accessories in their original condition. They are responsible for their own actions and those of their guests.
Departure time: no later than 11:00 AM for overnight stays. Any late departure is charged €50 per additional half-hour.
Smoking or vaping inside is strictly forbidden: a €500 cleaning fee will be charged in case of violation.
If the house is returned in an unsanitary condition (waste, untreated garbage, hygiene violations), a charge twice the rental amount will be applied.
Any obvious damage or theft of furniture, equipment, or decorative items will result in immediate deposit retention and billing for repair or replacement costs (proof by photographs).
Amounts due upon receipt of claim letter (legal interest rate + 5% contractual interest).
Pets are strictly prohibited.

8. DATA ACCESS

Aux Secrets des Arcs may retain or disclose customer information to comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, or enforce its rights.
Aux Secrets des Arcs reserves the right to suspend access to the Site or services in case of violation of the GTC or its policies, as permitted by law.

9. FORCE MAJEURE

Aux Secrets des Arcs cannot be held responsible for non-performance or improper performance of the booking due to force majeure, third party acts, or Client acts.
In case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances (urgent works, major failures…), Aux Secrets des Arcs reserves the right to cancel the booking and commits to fully refund the Client within 30 days.
Adverse weather conditions do not constitute grounds for reimbursement or cancellation without fees.

10. INSURANCE AND LIABILITY

Aux Secrets des Arcs is not liable for non-compliance with legislation, theft, damage or loss of personal effects of the Client or their guests.
The accommodation is insured as furnished rental.
The Client must have civil liability insurance (vacation clause) covering their stay.
The Client is responsible for the use of all products and equipment provided.

11. EXTERNAL SERVICE PROVIDERS

If payment was made through a third-party platform, the payment and booking terms of that platform also apply.

12. CHANGES INITIATED BY THE CLIENT

Any cancellation of a reserved service does not give rise to reduction or refund.

Cancellation / Postponement

A free postponement may be requested at least 14 days before the stay, subject to availability and without refund.
For a cancellation request at least 15 days before the booking date, 50% of the booking amount remains due (excluding options).
After this period, the full amount (excluding options) is due and non-refundable.

13. PRIVACY

Information requested from the Client is necessary for processing their booking. Without it, Aux Secrets des Arcs cannot process the order.
Aux Secrets des Arcs does not share any personal data with third parties. Information is strictly confidential and used only for internal management and service improvement.
The Client can exercise rights of access, correction, and opposition by contacting Aux Secrets des Arcs by email or registered mail.
The Client can refuse the use of their data for commercial prospecting by requesting so by email or registered mail.

14. DATA PROTECTION – CONFIDENTIALITY

In accordance with data protection laws, Aux Secrets des Arcs commits to respecting the confidentiality of Clients’ personal data.
Collected personal data are used exclusively for proper execution of ordered services.

15. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES

These GTC are governed by French law.
In case of dispute, and failing amicable agreement, the competent court is the Judicial Court of Cahors.

16. UNEXPECTED CLOSURE OR CANCELLATION BY AUX SECRETS DES ARCS

In case of force majeure or serious failure (equipment breakdown), Aux Secrets des Arcs reserves the right to cancel the booking. In this case, either the stay is postponed or fully refunded.

17. ACCESSIBILITY FOR PERSONS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY

The premises are unfortunately not adapted for persons with reduced mobility.

By confirming the booking, the Client acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted all the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, as well as the Internal Regulations and Legal Notices.

INTERNAL REGULATIONS

The Client agrees to respect the premises and leave them in a clean, sanitary, and tidy condition.

To keep this place magical for all, some rules of etiquette, behavior, common sense, respect, and citizenship are important to recall.

Aux Secrets des Arcs is strictly reserved for adults and consenting persons.
Access is strictly limited to 2 persons.
This accommodation is intended for very short-term stays (maximum 2 nights).
It cannot be used for professional activity or any activity contrary to French law and good morals.
The house is located in a village. It is IMPERATIVE to wear appropriate clothing and behave accordingly in public areas.
Daytime and/or nighttime noise disturbances are strictly FORBIDDEN. Likewise, disturbing the neighbors is FORBIDDEN.

Any breach of these requirements will result in immediate departure, without notice or refund. In this case, the full deposit will not be returned.

Respect arrival and departure times: ARRIVAL from 5:30 PM / DEPARTURE by 11:00 AM at the latest.
Waste and its disposal are the Client’s responsibility.
The front door is equipped with video surveillance.
Except in case of force majeure, it is forbidden to disconnect, block, force, or stop circuit breakers on the electrical panel.
It is strongly recommended to follow instructions regarding use of balneo and sauna equipment.
Use of massage candles is prohibited.
Aux Secrets des Arcs cannot be held responsible if the Client misuses or lacks knowledge about some equipment provided.
Pets are forbidden.
